In this episode of Otherworld Connections, we begin an exploration of the culture around fairy tales. We start off with one of the five main reasons why fairy tales are being banned, edited or censored. The first and foremost reason is regarding violence. We unpack how the term "violence" is misunderstood and by editing fairy tales actually increases the violent content in fairy tales!
